There are a few different ways you can open an account and all are very quick and simple to complete. You can open an account in one of three ways:

Due to Government regulations, ABC is required to carry out verification of a customer’s identity and therefore you must consent to this process in order to finalise the application. If then you do not pass, you will be required to mail ABC certified copies of identification documentation as outlined on the relevant “Terms and Conditions” page ID verification on this website. The transaction will not be finalised until these documents have been received.
Now that your account is up and running you can start shopping for all your precious metals.
Our live prices are automatically updated in real time, refreshing every five minutes. This gives clients the ability to both monitor the market, as well as have enough time to complete their purchase online.
Method of payment – for online purchases, we accept EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer.) via POLI internet banking payment must be completed within 30 minutes so metal can be locked in.
Please note, there is a three business day clearing period.

The method of obtaining purchased goods depends upon the individual client preference.

Method of payment – we accept cash, cheque, debit/ credit card (surcharges apply) and EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) for all over the counter purchases.
For all purchases over $5000 we require different levels of ID verification depending on amount and additional information depending on individual, business and SMSF purchases
Safeguarding your Gold and Silver Bullion are an important consideration. Whilst storing at home is an option, home storage has become an increasingly risky proposition.
Most of our clients want to have full control over their assets and are utilizing our sister company, Fortis Vaults, which is located next door to ABC, this facility offers a private vaulting service for physical bullion and other valuables.
SMSF & Corporate accounts have the option of storing at our ABC Vault Storage Facility. This is an unallocated service that provides a good choice for regular traders.
Investors that wish to trade frequently and on higher volumes usually buy metal in the unallocated pool of gold & silver. This Facility is managed by Australian Bullion Company on behalf of all our clients & is a hundred percent backed by physical metal.
Only cast bullion can be stored under an Unallocated Vault Storage account, minted products and coins are not allowed.
Annual Storage Fees
For account with total holdings value less than $100,000 – storage fee is $250 inc. GST
For account with total holdings value over $100,000 – storage fee is based on your insurable interest cover as per account holdings value

Delivered by Australia Post registered service to most major centres and to some remote locations.
Photographic ID (passport or driver’s license) and signature are required in order to receive parcel.
Maximum weight per parcel is 5 kg.
Delivered by Secure Courier. Photographic ID (passport or driver’s license) and signature from the person receiving the parcel are required for all deliveries. Orders sent by Secure Courier are only delivered to verified business addresses.
All parcels below $20,000 will have an insurance cover to protect your investment, to its final destination.
This is calculated at 1% of the purchase price of your product.
Secure Courier has mandatory insurance and will be included in your quote.

Trusts and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds are required to provide identification documents for both the Trust and the Trustee nominated to operate the account.
